Anti-UV filters and sunscreens

The protection against sunrays comes from synthetic filters and/or mineral screens. It must be efficient against both the UVB (given as the SPF: Sun Protection Factor) and the UVA, in a ratio UVB/UVA lower than, or equal to 3, as per the sanitary authorities.
