Seal of approval attributed and controlled by One Voice, a French association working to promote the rights of animals in laboratories or in the wild, circus animals, and animals for show or pets.
This seal signifies that the manufacturer has not practised, financed or accepted any test on animals neither during the entirety of the manufacturing process of the product, nor on the ingredients which compose it. I also bans animal extracts or substances, except for honey, pollen and bee wax.
To be able to affix this seal on a product label, it is necessary to make a request to One Voice, to present a dossier including the certificates of non-testings on behalf of the suppliers of all its raw materials (no exception is accepted), then to be audited by a certification body, which controls the exactitude and exhaustiveness of these declarations, the whole of which process may take one to two years.
This seal may be present on cosmetics labels and also on other types of product, such as food, clothes, household products, gardening specialties, etc.
On cosmetic products, it should replace the old logo, the Leaping Bunny.
