Who has no Punica?

Trendy is trendy. Nowadays, one may wonder which one of the manufacturers has no product, no new "something", even not an entire line dedicated to pomegranate. This exotic ingredient is all the rage; Punica granatum, as per is INCI name, is everywhere, as fruit extract, seed oil, juice, powder … By the way, what has been found in pomegranate that leads to such a craze?
